| A great find for the vintage U.S. Military binocular collector! Has two sets of mounted Polaroid filters with a side control to rotate one filter with respect to the other, and each set rotates at the same time. This should gradually lighten or darken the incoming light that goes to your binocular objectives. However, these are old and some of the filter material may have deteriorated. Manufactured by Beck-Lee Corporation, this M1 filter assembly attaches over the eyepieces of the M15 and M17 7x50 U.S. military binoculars (those without eyeguards). Each unit measures 4" wide x 3 3/4" high x 1" deep, with black-enameled metal frame with dual 3/4" diameter glass filters, knurled focus tabs, and 1/4" rear wells with ten metal pressure tabs for press-on application of the assembly. SNL Stock No. F238-5800227, stamped July 1948. Made by the Beck-Lee Corporation. Nice military collectable. Complete with original box. Supplies are limited. |
