| We got these from the remains of A. Jaegers Optics in Lynbrook, NY. They come in the original military packaging which states "Eye End Only" and 10240 Corning Glass. Edge thickness is 40mm and center thickness is 45mm (both sides are convex). These have some coating and cement breakage from years of storage. These are not achromatic, so it clearly was made to go into a telescope assembly with other optics. We're not sure what other lens this should go with (for telescope use) but looks like it would be great for experimenting; very wide field! This is almost 2 pounds of glass! |
