| Not sure what these went in but probably used as some sort of aiming unit for a gun sight. The base measures 48mm square, 5mm thick, and has six openings for mounting. The entire assembly is 50mm high. The top has a mounted dove prism which is attached at a 45 degree angle. The prism measures 25mm long and is 6mm high with an aluminized hypotenuse which faces a reticle. The reticle has a 15mm diameter and is enclosed in an attached barrel with a diameter of 28mm. Under the reticle is a piece of diffusion glass. The reticle gets illuminated and the image is transfer from the prism to ??. These are unused but have been in storage for some time. The best will go out first! Some do not have the prism attached and will need to be glued onto the assembly. These are marked "8200371" and in the original military packaging. |
