| These curious-looking prisms are composed of hundreds of coherent fiber optic strand sections. It transfers the light and image with high efficiency and low distortion, and were originally used in military night vision scopes during the Korean War. Each 45mm long x 30mm wide x 15mm high prism is base and side-coated to prevent light loss during travel through the length of the prism. Coherent image transfers the length of the prism. Set it vertical on a piece of paper with writing and see the writing at the top of the prism. Great items for the fiber optics hobbyist or experimenter, or military optics collector! Unused in original package. |
