| These are absolute beauties. Viewlex lens assembly unused with front and rear caps. This could make a great 50.8mm focal length eyepiece except end portion of the assembly is 37mm diameter (too big to fit into a standard 1.25 inch focuser). Barrel is 65mm long. Eye end is 29mm diameter. If you are creative you could make a nice eyepiece out of this. 4 element Plossl type design with two cemented doublet achromats. Threaded retaining rings on each side allow easy removal of the lenses. Used with a telescope objective, it provides a nice sharp color corrected image, flat from edge to edge with an excellent field of view and eye relief. Coated optics. |
