| These are unused in mint condition. Not sure which type of high quality optical glass this is. Measures 66mm x 61mm and tapers down to 30mm. These are 33mm deep, the point (in the back) is cut off and a 17mm diameter infrared filter has been attached. Looks to allow about 5-10% light transmission thru the center. Our understanding is that they can be used for IR transmission and receiving. Also called a retroreflector or trihedral prism, these are generally used in surveying or precision alignment to reflect any beam entering it back to its source, regardless of the prism's orientation. Rear and sides are aluminized for high reflection. With these, you can attach a small light source behind the IR filter and use your surveying equipment in the dark with an IR receiver.
