| Made by Bausch & Lomb, Catalog #32-13-06. Nominal fiber diameter is 1/8". Ends are .21" diameter. Non-coherent light guide is precision-drawn 20-micron fibers of 1.62 index glass, each coated with a protective and internally reflective clad of 1.52 index; then bundled and sheathed with aluminum strip-wound cable. Incident light gathering efficiency is 60% at the receiving end. Light transmitting efficiency is 5% absorbance per foot. Range from visible to near infra red. Working temperature range -40 degrees F to +160 degrees F. In original containers. |
