Very interesting the way it works: There are 3 prisms in the assembly, one of which is adjustable with the smooth focusing knob. Focusing is done internally. When used with an objective lens and an eyepiece the unit provides an upright image with focusing. Our thought is that these could be used for other optical instruments as well. 140mm long by 100mm high. Eye end opening is 40.5mm ID with internal threads and object end is 43.1mm ID and 50.4mm OD with external threads. If you have any additional use suggestions let us know as we may be able to get the factory to make extras of these. New beauties. Limited supply.
