Model HFBR-2001 Optical Receiver Module made by Hewlett Packard. HFBR·2001 fiber optic receiver is an integrated optical to electrical transducer designed for reception of digital data over single fiber channels. A silicon PIN photodetector and a bipolar integrated circuit convert optical pulses to TTL level outputs with an optical sensitivity of .8JLW, a dynamic range of 23 dB, and data rates to 10 Mb/s NRZ. An integral optical connector on the module allows easy interfacing without problems of fiber/detector alignment. The low profile package is designed for direct printed circuit board mounting without additional heat sinking. Unused in original packing. Original cost $192.54 each. Includes 4 page spec sheet.
