Mounted glass mirror flat 10 inch clear diameter with a 4 inch center hole. 1.5 inches thick. Coating is breaking up. Mounting is such that the mirror stands perpendicular. See photos. We get nice straight lines with our 1/20 wave flat. Mirror mount alone is worth our price. Weighs 47 pounds. Only have one.
Our understanding is that they were originally made for and used by the government's Los Alamos Scientific Lab and may have been hand polished at the Univ of AZ in the 1970's. Clearly our military paid many thousands of dollars for these.
